Morgan Hill is on track to survive the economic recession and thrive, achieving the community’s vision. Having led you for four years as Mayor, I look forward to drawing on my experience and leadership to guide our City ahead.

Accomplishments include the opening of successful new facilities and retail centers, moving Downtown forward and the launch of road projects like the Tennant overpass. The City is safe and has made extensive environmental improvements. Future needs include further enlivening and revitalizing downtown, assuring public safety with declining resources, finalizing plans in the southeastern area and preventing flooding.

Experience matters, especially now. I have 12 years on the Council with four as Mayor, seven years as a planning commissioner, 38 years with IBM and extensive service in community and regional volunteer leadership roles.

You helped create a community vision. I will lead Morgan Hill toward that vision, improving our already outstanding quality of life.  With your continued support and my leadership, Morgan Hill will maintain positive momentum and its charming ambience
